2010-Present Art Instructor. Roanoke City Public School, Roanoke, VA. Teaches both introduction and advanced painting and drawing fine arts courses at William Fleming High School . In addition to all teaching responsibilities, also embraces opportunities to have students participate in community art projects.
2007-Present Professional Artist. Heather Marshall Studio, Roanoke, VA. Works as an independent contractor creating original works of art for exhibition and sale.

2004 Fiber Arts Instructor. St. Mary’s Fine Arts Camp, South Bend, IN. (Summer) Responsible for developing week long fiber arts projects for 4 different class levels (fifth through eighth grades) over a four week camp session. Organized a performance at the end of each week to exhibit student work.
